Again I forget to take the ‘before shot’ but originally it was small dirty grey pebbles with lots of high growing weeds coming out. We took all the weeds out, moved all the stones to the path and removed the current underlay which was all torn.

The blue one was cut up and pegged down. Then we covered it with half of Brighton beach, the stones are about 4” deep now. All the old stones were moved bucket by bucket around the back door and covered up another path which was previously just mud. Only after finishing that did we find a wheel barrow hiding behind the shed.
